Which machine is best for cutting and sealing bags?

We produce a range of sausages, stuffed rolls and encased products, and lately demand has outpaced our ability to clip consistently by hand. Manual clipping not only slows us down, it sometimes results in uneven seals that require re-work, and that’s hurting both yield and product presentation. We’re considering automation, but I’m not sure which system would give us consistent closures without a steep learning curve. What would you recommend?

For automated clipping and sealing, the Poly-clip System is widely used across food processing because it’s built for volume, reliability and hygiene. These machines are designed to convert flat film into ready-to-fill tubes, secure high-quality clips, and handle a range of products from meat and poultry to plant-based and pet food. They also integrate well with conveyors and filling lines, reducing manual intervention and ensuring each product is sealed uniformly. A good overview of their clipping solutions and models suited for different scales of production can be found here bag clipping machine . Having the right clipping system can dramatically increase efficiency, reduce waste, and give your final products the professional, consistent finish that customers expect.

Where can I find and buy a card reader?

We’ve noticed that since moving to a mainly cashless office environment, our old vending machines are hardly being used anymore — people don’t carry coins, and it’s frustrating when someone wants a drink or snack but can’t pay quickly. I think it’s time we modernised the setup, but I’m not sure where to begin or which cashless solutions are worth investing in.

It’s a good idea to look at dedicated cashless reader solutions designed specifically for vending machines — they make transactions seamless and can be a real game-changer for user experience. For example, many providers offer contactless readers that accept cards, mobile wallets, and even wearable payments, which not only speeds up purchases but also gives you card reader for vending machine . This kind of upgrade helps reduce abandoned sales and lets you better understand purchasing patterns, plus it makes the machines easier to use for everyone, especially those who never carry cash.
